"When the opportunity came to develop Steen & Ström's Swedish legal department, I took it. Today we are three lawyers working together but also close to our colleagues in Norway and Denmark and close to our colleagues at our French main owner Klépierre. I enjoy the daily work and the industry, which is dynamic and in an exciting phase."

Working in an industry that is constantly evolving is so exciting and creates opportunities. Steen & Strøm has a long history in the operation and development of shopping centers, and I am grateful that I have had the opportunity to work with several exciting tasks, positions and shopping centers since 2010. I've worked on redevelopment projects, I've learned a lot about urban development, handling media and PR communication has also been a huge part of my job in addition to work with the municipality and politicians. I like the variety and the the constant evolution.

Having a competent team around me is key to solve all the challenges we face daily. Together we try to find different ways and solutions to optimize our systems and minimize energy consumption. To sum it all up – if there is a problem in my area of responsibility, it’s my job to handle it. And as I’m a problem-solving and bossy person – I’m exactly in the right place!

I find the opportunities within Steen & Strøm exciting, and it's great to be part of an international company with a strong local presence. At Metro, we are a small team with good team spirit, and we support each other. At the same time, we have an international owner, which means international contacts both internally and externally. This was not something I expected when I started in 2015.
