Christian Brewaeys succeeds Marie Caniac who assumes a position as Group Chief Operating Officer at Steen & Strøm's French majority owner Klépierre. "We trust that Christian's strong drive will help strengthen Steen & Strøm's Scandinavian leadership in the shopping center sector", says Jean-Marc Jestin, Chairman of the Executive Board of Klépierre.

Christian Brewaeys’ strong track record and 20 years of experience in various positions in the property industry has enabled him to build a large Scandinavian network in leasing. He has been instrumental in revitalizing our client mix and ensuring solid growth in revenue by implementing our operational vision, continues Jean-Marc Jestin.

Christian Brewaeys joined Steen & Strøm in 2017 as Leasing Director for Sweden and Denmark before being promoted to Head of Leasing for the Scandinavian shopping centers in 2021. Prior to that, he has held various roles as Asset Manager, Head of Retail, Portfolio Manager Retail covering most of the Nordic’s countries.
