CARLINGS INVESTS FURTHER IN THE OSLO CITY STORE

It's lovely to be able to celebrate another refurbishment of a store that has been in Oslo City for a long time. Carlings has reopened with an exciting and updated store concept.

One of the Nordic region’s largest denim retailers, Carlings, with over 150 stores in Norway, Sweden, and Finland, has been in Oslo City since November 2002. Over the years, the store has undergone continuous upgrades, including two complete refurbishments. The second renovation was completed last week, and the store has reopened, fully implementing the new store concept that truly embodies denim.

According to Carlings’ Country Manager, Ronny Mikalsen, the upgrade provides an even better shopping experience. The store has become easier to navigate, much brighter, and more inviting. Carlings has also invested more in digital communication, both instore and on the façade, to inform and inspire customers.

Oslo City is a very well-managed shopping center in the heart of Norway’s largest city, and our store here is one of Carlings’ Norwegian flagship stores. Thanks to Oslo City’s high footfall, Carlings becomes very visible, and we get the opportunity to showcase our denim concept to many visitors in a short time, says Ronny Mikalsen.

Carlings is one of several tenants that have been with us for many years, much to the delight of many of our visitors. Their extensive denim range fits well with our diverse visitor group – men and women of all ages and sizes. I am not only very pleased with Ronny Mikalsen’s kind words, but also very proud that Carlings has chosen to continue investing in Oslo City and upgrade the store as well as the customer experience, says Elisabeth Lohk, Center Manager at Oslo City.
