Two exciting happenings the very same week in Bryggen! Vejle Library’s children and youth department has temporary moved during the renovation of the current library and Danish fashion brand Kings & Queens has opened their first store in Vejle. We are incredibly pleased to welcome them both to Bryggen!

Welcoming the library to Bryggen is in accordance with Steen & Strøm’s ambition to be a natural part of the community in which our shopping centers operate.

Vejle Library fills approx. 400 m2 with books from their department for children and young people. We are pleased to be able to contribute to making it easy and simple for the citizens of Vejle to borrow books while the current library is being renovated. The library is located on the 1st floor, explains Claus Brændgaard, Regional Shopping Center Manager at Bryggen.

The opening of the library was not the only thing that was celebrated in Bryggen recently. The Danish fashion brand Kings & Queens opened their first store in Vejle the very same week!

We are delighted to welcome Kings & Queens to Bryggen and Vejle. It’s a strong fashion brand that appeals to the younger target group, confirms Claus Brændgaard.

We have chosen to expand into Bryggen as we consider Vejle to be a strong shopping destination, and Vejle is one of the cities where we have the most enquiries from our customers. Our opinion is that Bryggen and the surrounding area is the commercial center in Vejle which will grow in the future, explains Carsten Plambæk, CEO and owner of Kings & Queens.

In Bryggen a major rotation of existing stores has taken place.

To meet Kings & Queens requirements for a 1,000 square meter store, we had to propose store locations for a couple of our existing stores. This has meant, among other things, that Samsø and Envii have relocated to beautiful new premises on the ground floor,“ concludes Claus Brændgaard.
